Sushi Zanmai @ The Garden

We have a short break from our work so plan to have a relax day. Sure will have a good meal. After movie in Midvalley, I suggested to have meal in Sushi Zanmai as we are not very hungry so we just take some bite only. As I know after 7pm, the restaurant will be very full and with long queue so we at there 6.30pm.

Located in The Garden, 3th Floor (near the food court)

Yasai Tempura - Simple the best !

Baby Octopus - Fresh.. Good..

Many selection, choice which you like..

The sushi is fresh and simply the best but I don't understand why The Garden's Sushi Zanmai is so famous which make people willing wait for long queue althought is weekend also ! Can anyone tell me ? Or other Sushi Zanmai's branches also like that?

Highly recommended by my brother, he said the restaurant just open for weekday lunch time only.. According to my brother, many people like to eat here because of their traditional cook style.. Original taste..

When you go there, you will need to prepare more tissue because is very hot there.. You will sweat when you dining there.. There just have few big fan only.. The environment as below with open kitchen:-

Fish stomach + 'Yu Pui' - the fish stomach taste like sotong, 'song song' with some sauce

100 % Kampung chicken - is very 'ang', as my dad said kampung chicken is hard to eat as the chicken have exercise more (run around) so it will have the original chicken taste.. kampung feel gua..

Steam Fish Head - it fresh and yummy eat with their fish sauce.. Need to book more early if you go around 1pm, if not will need to try next time lo...

You may see some aunties/uncles waving their hands to direct you to the parking, and they collect RM2 from you for parking alongside the road.

One of restaurant famous with Claypot Loh Shu Fun.. There is a lot of people although is weekday, you will need to wait for your table..

Here it come, the famous Claypot Lou Shu Fun - it serves with plenty of minced pork and a raw egg on top.. We will need to mix it together so the egg will gets cooked and more juicy.. It very yummy with full of flavour and it smooth in your mouth.. Super yummy.. That why it so famous...

Fried Sui Gau - Crispy, Crispy outside and juicy pork inside..

Yong Chow Fried Rice - Too Dry and Salty...

My brother favorite, Wantan Mee with Roast pork - nice roast pork sauce + wantan mee = yummy match.. Their wan tan mee is 'song', 'song' when you chewing..

The restaurant is recommended by my friends for our gathering.. If my friend didn't said, I also don't the place have a japanese restaurant in the area.. Because the restaurant is not location in front of the main road..

Here is the restaurant at night ( Green colour shoplot )

The Menu - the price is reasonable but the food need to try 1st..

There we go for 1st set dinner that order one of my friend - Mixed Seafood Bento

Grilled Salmon Set with Teriyaki sauce - The salmon is over cook so not so yummy to eat.. - RM 21.00

My set dinner - Salmon Sashimi with Fried Tempura Set - RM 24.00

It is 'Fresh' salmon.. Have a try for salmon sashimi lover..

Juicy Gyoza - Normal, not that yummy that i though.. - RM9.00

Teriyaki Chicken - Is nice to eat with rice..

Udon - Cute cute udon..

Restaurant Sek Yuen @ Pudu

The restaurant is a traditional restaurant in Pudu Street.. It just in front of Pudu main road and nearby Pudu Star LRT. There is difficult to find parking so you need park into LRT station open parking area..

Outlook of the Restaurant.. You can choose for air-con

or open air (Just beside only)

We arrived there about 6.30pm, after 15 minutes the restaurant is full of people.. Almost 80% is senior citizen, maybe the restaurant have the traditional feel..

This is the main point that we come for this restaurant, my mum said the restaurant is famous of BBQ Duck.. My mum is right, it very yummy and crispy ( chui pei ).. The sauce is sour and spicy, NICE...

Yam with vege ( Fatt Put ).. The yam is crispy but the vege is too oily..

Steam Taufu.. Normal..

Mix Vegetable.. Not yummy.. The 'lam yu' sauce is too strong for me.. I though is my niece is 'em em' tim.. hehe.. The smell is not nice..

'Lam Yu' Fried Pork.. Not nice.. My mum cook better than this.. Maybe is the 'lam yu' sauce problem again..

Steam Fish.. So..so..

Overall the BBQ Duck special one, other just normal.. Maybe traditional style is like tat gua but the price was suprised us because just RM140 for 8 people.. Ok la for a try.. :)

Kenny Rogers Roaster

Kenny Rogers Roaster can be said is healthy fast food compare with MCD/KFC.. Kenny Roger's Meal are less oil, salt and sugar, because it is healthy food so will be less people like their food.. People are like not healthy food that with spicy, fried, oily and salty.. Is it correct?
